Description
The fruity and floral brilliance of a Chinese white tea.
Hailing from Yunnan, a legendary region renowned for its Pu Erh and fine black teas—this exceptional white tea comes from Camellia taliensis tea trees, born out of an exchange between Léo Dugué-Perrin, tea sourcer at Palais des Thés, and the producer.
It is made exclusively from long scaly buds harvested from Camellia taliensis trees. Crafted according to delicate white tea processing methods, this meticulous work reveals a golden-hued liqueur supported by a remarkably rare oily texture.
On the palate, this Grand Cru offers a vibrant and strikingly complex aromatic profile. The fruity brilliance of lychee and exotic fruits harmonizes with an elegant bouquet of garden flowers reminiscent of rose, violet, wisteria, and rose geranium. Indulgent honey nuances, complemented by botanical hints of basil and a subtle woody touch, coat the palate with a soft sweetness.
