Description

A Grand Cru renowned for its intense vegetal aromas and freshness

Hailing from Tanegashima Island, this ichibancha is crafted from shimamidori, a cultivar endemic to the island. Literally meaning "island green", it is grown from yabukita seeds. A spring sencha with a delicious umami flavor, unfolding marine and buttery notes against a beautifully intense vegetal backdrop.
