Through charity work in tea regions
Since 2020, Palais des Thés has been supporting the charity
Karuna-Shechen, through philanthropic initiatives as well as our annual Black Friday For Good campaign.
We have chosen to transform this highly anticipated commercial event into a moment of solidarity, in line with our commitment to contribute to the well-being of all, while respecting the tea-growing regions and the men and women who produce and enjoy the tea every day.
Karuna-Shechen implements humanitarian projects for disadvantaged communities in India, Nepal, and Tibet. The funds raised have directly supported several initiatives, including environmental awareness programmes in schools, the planting of organic orchards to provide isolated families with a self-sufficient and varied diet, and vocational training, particularly for women.

Through social sustainability
Our Palais des Thés teams visit our tea producers several times a year, to make new discoveries and build relationships with our farmers and tea communities.
Our staff are also encouraged to support causes close to their hearts. We’ve teamed up with Vendredi, a french corporate volunteering platform which supports employee engagement in mission-driven charities during their working hours.
