Description
An extraordinary Rock Tea balancing mineral characters and floral sweetness.
Harvested in the majestic setting of the Wuyi Mountains in Fujian, this organic yancha embodies the full richness of a legendary terroir. It comes from the Rui Xiang cultivar, which was bred from Huang Dan (used to make Huang Jin Gui tea).
This Grand Cru offers a rare hybrid profile, striking a fine balance between the assertive minerality of a traditional yancha and the captivating delicacy of a floral oolong. Upon brewing, its large, twisted leaves reveal an amber liqueur with a powdery mouthfeel.
On the palate, this Rock Tea unfolds a complex flavor profile where woody and roasted notes harmonize perfectly with sweet yellow fruits. An unexpected floral touch and a soft buttery nuance coat the palate, creating an unprecedented, harmonious balance
