Lu An Gua Pian is a highly renowned green tea and one of China's oldest and most prestigious teas. Cultivated in Anhui province, its name translates to "melon seeds," paying tribute to the characteristic shape of its leaves. This Grand Cru stands out for its unique picking method: made exclusively of young leaves, harvested without any terminal buds.
This harvesting method produces an atypical tea with true aromatic uniqueness. It reveals intense floral, vegetal, and nutty notes reminiscent of chestnut.
