The Kuro teapot takes its name from its black colour: kuro in Japanese. The intense, glossy finish is the result of Mr Mizuno’s artisanal craftsmanship, and involves the meticulous application of two layers of glaze. When fired at high temperatures, this technique creates a subtle contrast with a unique elegance.
The Kuro teapot is made of stoneware and features a stainless steel filter and a bamboo handle. The 45 cl capacity is ideal for revealing the full potential of the finest teas and infusions.
