Description

Craftsmanship for your tasting experience

This matcha bowl stands out for its Shino-style glaze—a hand-applied creamy white enamel whose texture reveals delicate pinkish highlights in places. The combination of three different enamels creates a unique play of colors, offering a shifting appearance depending on the viewing angle.

Its traditional circular shape is perfectly suited for preparing and enjoying matcha tea.

A ceremonial bowl for matcha preparation

Matcha is a green tea whose leaves have been ground into a very fine powder. It is not infused but whisked, prepared using a whisk, a bowl, and a scoop.

To enjoy all the creaminess and sweetness of matcha, it should be consumed immediately after preparation.

  1. Place 2 scoops (equivalent to one level teaspoon) of Matcha into the bowl.
  2. Pour 5cl of water heated to 70°C over the powder.
  3. Holding the bowl with one hand, whisk your matcha tea using the bamboo whisk in a brisk motion (forming a "W" shape at the bottom of the bowl) until a smooth froth forms.

Your tea is ready to enjoy! To make a matcha latte, simply add 10cl of milk (dairy or plant-based), previously frothed with an electric whisk.
